International Dog Show to be held September 11,12 2010 at the 1000
Islands Camping Resort.
WHERE:
The show will be on the grounds of 1000 Islands Parkway, Lansdowne,
Ontario Canada. 382 1000 Islands Parkway. Seven minutes from the US
Border, just five minutes West of the 1000 Islands International Bridge.
Five miles East of Gananoque.
JUDGES:
*** We are pleased to announce we have a special Guest FCI- judge
from Bogota Colombia- Ms. Denys Janssen .She will be judging all
four shows. The balance of the excellent slate includes: Pamela
Bruce, CKC; James Covey, AKC; Steve Dainard, Canada.
HOW TO ENTER:
*You may enter these shows on line at www.iabca.com *You may send any entry form you have (ie AKC), place the name of of our show Location--at the top and the date(s) you wish to enter. We use AKC judges, Canadian Kennel Club judges, and judges from Europe and Australia. Exhibitors enjoy these shows very much. You receive a written critique from the Judge. You also, have a chance to earn International UCI Titles sanctioned by Union Cynologie Internationale in Germany. Judges enjoy judging these shows for several reasons: they have a chance to speak with the exhibitors. There are no time limits on the judge. They can spend as much time as they need with each entry. The dogs compete against the standard and not against each other. If they are judged excellent to the standard they may receive an International Title. Please note rules for Puppies and adults are different as far as titles are concerned. Pups and Adults never compete against each other. We have a BIS adult and BIS pup. We spotlight the breeder handlers with a Best Bred-by in Show competition. We have groups and BIS and an ultimate BIS for the 4 shows of the weekend where all BIS compete for Grand Sieger. read more about this on our website We have been in existence over 20 years here in the US and Canada. We have shows 45-50 weekends per year. Our Parent Club is UCI based in Germany. UCI has been around since the 60's.
