We are making our new facility available for all types of educational seminars, matches, trials, adopt-a-thons, temperament tests and health screening clinics on a regular basis. We will be advertising monthly what events we will be holding in the near future. If your clubs or affiliations would like to hold a meting or event at our facility we would love to accommodate you.

Entry Fees:         $6.00 for Regular Classes & Obedience
$4.00 for Sweeps
Junior Show $6.00 or free if entered in a Regular Class
 
ALL BREED OBEDIENCE     Obedience Starts at 11 AM

Sweeps starts at 11:30 Followed by Jr. Show, Followed by Regular Classes.  (October 5th match judges TBA)

    Albany Obedience Club Welcomes

    Presenting a Seminar Based on their Newly Released Book:

    Agility Start to Finish (Alpine 2008)

    December 13 and 14th, 2008

    Location:  Albany Obedience Club, Wemple Road, Glenmont, NY

     

    Cost:  $150 for the 2 days, $75 for 1 day

    AOC members take 10% off the registration fee

     

    This is not a working seminar.  Dogs will be invited to participate in demonstrating techniques and dogs with problems will be examined. 

    Many dogs will get to work but it is not run like a class

    -Dogs are crated when not working.  No ex pens please.

    -Snacks and beverages will be supplied.  Lunch provided.

    -Will send out directions to AOC and hotel information when I receive your registration form.

    -There will be no refunds after November 21st.  Registration fees will not be cashed until after the seminar.

    GVKC is promoting responsible dog ownership for purebred dogs by offering AKC CGC classes and testing.  Our next class will be in the fall.  If you are interested, please contact Pattie Hinton.

     Purebred Puppy Socialization Classes

    Socialization is an important part of raising a new puppy.  GVKC is now offering puppy socialization and basic training classes for 3-6 month old purebred puppies.  The classes will be held on Thursday night at the Lincoln Firehall (same location as our show handling classes).  If you have a new purebred puppy and would be interested in more information and registration for this class, contact Kris Fletcher.
